Mesotherapy

What is mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is a non-surgical treatment which involves a series of injections into the mesodermal layer of your skin. The mesodermal layer is the middle layer of your skin and the treatment is designed to improve problems such as inflammation and poor circulation which can cause skin imperfections.

The injections are made up of vitamins, antioxidants and hyaluronic acid which all help to increase the production of collagen in your skin and leave it looking rejuvenated.

Mesotherapy can be used to address issues such as:
● Pigmentation
● Skin tightening
● Cellulite reduction
● Lines and wrinkles
● Fat removal from face, arms, thighs, stomach, hips and legs
● Alopecia

How does mesotherapy work?

The needles used for mesotherapy are extremely small and injected quickly. The treatment helps to increase blood circulation in the targeted area which stimulates the production of elastin and collagen, both of which are important for maintaining your skin’s elasticity.

By producing elastin and collagen, mesotherapy will make tired and dull looking skin look brighter and the improved blood flow helps your body to flush out toxins that age your skin.

What are the benefits of mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy’s key purpose is to improve the appearance of dull, tired looking skin and wrinkles but it can also help to improve circulation in the chosen area which helps your body to flush out toxins which can contribute to the ageing process.

Other benefits include:

● Fresh and rejuvenated skin
● An alternative to other expensive therapies
● Hydrated skin
● Brighter skin
● More even skin tone

What to expect after mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is not usually a painful procedure but you can have anaesthetic cream first if you wish to reduce the chances of the treatment feeling uncomfortable.

The treatment can be completed within an hour and no recovery time is needed.
